Oral cleanliness is very important for every one. We should brush our teeth at least twice a day, so as to maintain oral hygiene. If not so, it leads to cavities in the teeth, leading to dental problems and bad breath. In Ayurveda, it is termed as 'Mukha Dowrgandhya'.
Brushing with a soft branch of Neem tree or Babul tree removes bad breath.
Chewing of 5 grams of fennel seeds or coriander seeds or cardamom seeds works as mouth freshener.
Eating of betel leaf with cardamom or mint is beneficial in bad breath.
Gargling with the solution prepared from cardamom, cinnamon and dried mint leaves, helps.
Chewing of cardamom seeds prevents bad breath.
Gargling with 2-3 drops of caraway seed oil in a cup of water, 3 - 4 times a day.
Brushing with Kusta (Sausira lappa) Powder will reduce the bad smell from mouth.
